Denim Jacket and Daylight Saving
Coming up with new outfits can be time consuming and then you add in the mad rush to beat the traffic and I've got myself in a pickle. It is so hard when I am pressed for time to get to a shoot location and before I know it the the good lighting is gone; this is why when I found out daylight savings was coming I was so ecstatic! This gives me some extra time to capture beautiful imagery for inspiration while not freezing to death or melting because of the intense heat (yes Summer, I'm talking to you). I just love this mild weather and the endless style options that come with it.
History tends to repeat itself and the saying definitely holds true in the beauty and fashion world. Growing up watching Grease instilled in me the desire to travel back in time and live in the 50's. This is how I felt with my ATM sundress with its cute crisscross laced up side detail, like I was reviving the days when bomber jackets and flared skirts paired with sneakers where in, wait..... that describes everything in style now. Either way I still felt cool, so cool that I even dared to pop the collar of my GRLFRND DENIM jacket. Since the weather has been so chilly everywhere I travelled and I've often had to wear boots these last few months, it was nice to whip out my Adidas Stan Smith's and rock them on this beautiful day out. For a bag that is less bulky and helps step up the entire outfit, this August California maiori- graphic snake clutch is the perfect subtle addition. My resolution for this new season is to make the most of my days and take advantage of beautiful sunny evenings.
