A day with Anne Sisteron

I was recently lucky enough to spend a day with Kait and Kat the boss ladies behind KaitKat, an awesome creative agency helping brands step up their digital content game as well as connecting them with bloggers such as myself.

This day was spent shooting material for jewellery designer extraordinaire Anne Sisteron. Working with Anne and her talented team to create beautiful content for their social media campaign was truly a privilege and an experience I will not be forgetting any time soon.

Anne herself was born in Paris and her love of jewellery began at an early age, much like my enjoyment of fashion and this was definitely a passion I could relate to. Through working as a model for ELITE Anne was able to expose her ideas and designs to already established designers, but it wasn’t until her friends and family began to request her pieces that things began to evolve into the creation of the successful Anne Sisteron team we see today.

All the images for the campaign were shot in Beverly Hills and it was a pleasure to work in some of the most iconic streets in Los Angeles. Rodeo Drive for example has been seen in a number of Hollywood blockbusters and really added a little more excitement to an already exciting day. The shoot itself was so much fun but I was definitely aware of just how expensive the pieces where. Some retail at over $10,000 each - that’s enough to give anyone anxiety! Luckily, I was soon put at ease and thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with the team. I mean, who wouldn’t enjoy seeing such incredible pieces of jewellery on themselves?

Every piece seen in Anne’s collection is hand picked and is remarkable in terms of quality. I suppose a lot of this comes from her time spent as a gemologist and diamond grader, they are skills she can transfer into this current designer endeavor. It’s clear that the person behind the designs is a true lover of fine jewellery.

The 14KT yellow gold diamond oval cocktail ring was a true favourite of mine and it immediately caught my eye, something a lot of Anne’s designs do. They are crafted in such a delicate and impressive way that the quality alone stands out, not to mention the attention to detail.

All in all, this was such a fun day and it was a pleasure to be asked to take part. It’ll definitely be keeping an eye on Anne Sisteron in the future and can’t wait to see what else she designs.

What’s your favourite piece in Anne’s collection?
