Be Different, Be You

"From your fingerprints, straight through to your marrow, you're wildly different."

As I've previously mentioned, my team trip to Joshua Tree was special in so many ways.  Other than it being it a gorgeous place, the serene atmosphere of the desert made me reflect on my creative process and the changes that have come along in the last few years. Roaming through the cacti filled land I felt a true sense of freedom. Not only literal physical freedom, but freedom to express myself like never before. As we set the scene to shoot this regal blue and deep purple OTT gown, we were able to capture the possibilities that creativity can bring to life. 

This year I hope to be more bold in my expression of what I believe and not forgetting that at times it will not be understood or well received by everyone. I've never been one to make New Year's resolutions, but I do know that change is a process, and the process towards being more self-accepting is one I am willing to embark on. Like this editorial shoot stepped out of my comfort zone, I am making it my goal to actively step outside of the boundaries I place on myself and explore my unique creative visions further.
