Simply put, this blog is about passion. My deepest passions happen to lie in fashion, interior design and travel, and this blog is my drawing board.

Boho in the City

Boho in the City

From getting used to the time changes, to dealing with drastic temperature drops, traveling non-stop can take a toll on you. Because of all these sudden changes I've been feeling under the weather and staying in when I get the chance. Of course I longed for the opportunity to play dress up and document how I style some fall fashion outfits. One of the dilemmas I always face when traveling back home to London is trying to incorporate the pieces that I love to wear back in sunny LA or even on holiday. Obviously weather is a big restriction here so I cannot always translate my laid back So Cal style to the frigid cold streets of England.

Boho maxi dresses are one of my favorite pieces to wear and style into different looks depending on the occasion, so I took the challenge upon myself to turn this peasant printed BCBGeneration maxi dress and elevate it to a more city chic look. I love this particular maxi long sleeve style for the fitted frame with just a flared hem as well as delicate lace panels. To make it more city friendly I paired the look with a cropped aviator style jacket by Storets and wore some over the knee boots by Stuart Weitzman, which are both sexy and help keep legs warmer underneath the dress. The adorable bucket style bag is by Italian designer, Benedetta Bruzziches who's designs I absolutely adore. I actually had the chance to chat with her during Paris fashion week last year and was so energized just by seeing her passion for her creations.
