Bringing Xmas Back

Does anyone else agree with me that the Christmas season should definitely last longer? Aghhh. It's seriously the best, but I must say I'm excited for a new year, a fresh new start and also a new haircut. I decided to go for a shorter cut since returning to LA and I love my new bob hairstyle; its sleek and modern and the styling takes half the time, hurray!

I originally prepared this look for NYFW, but since overpacking is my forte I didn't get an occasion to wear it during my trip. So now I've decided to shoot this holiday looking ensemble and share it with you all. I paired an embellished Topshop sweater (the cute bubble embellishments remind me of Christmas tree ornaments) and a draped metallic Vivienne Westwood skirt. Since there was already a lot of sparkle going on, I decided to go with more pared down accessories in black; a Maison Margiela clutch and Vince open-toe booties with just a silver block heel to pick up on the metallic theme. 

And at the risk of sounding cliche I must add these wise words; 'Don't let anyone dull your sparkle', shine bright my friends!
