London Calling
Hi loves, and Happy Monday!
I have some big news, since after much deliberation over the summer I have decided to move back home to London to be closer to my family. It has been a wonderful three years in Los Angeles and I still can't quite believe how fast time flew by, since it seems like only yesterday that I embarked on this sun filled adventure.
Although my heart is bursting with some bittersweet emotions, I am so so grateful for the experiences I gained over this time and all the wonderful people I met along the way many of whom have become friends for life. Not to mention that I grew my blog while in LA, my little creative baby that has taught me so much about business, gave me some incredible opportunities, really improved my confidence (changing at the back of the car or middle of the street is now a piece of cake!) as well as allowed me to bring my artistic fantasies to life. My fellow blogging family aka some of the fiercest boss babes and photographers I have ever met, you'll be oh so very missed!
As you might have noticed I've been a bit MIA on all social media outlets since I am currently in the middle of the move and have a lot still to organise. Once I am a bit more settled in my old/new surroundings, I promise to carry on with blogging and create a lot of exciting content for you guys as well as explore other projects and of course still travel as much as I can. So please bare with me and stay tuned!
As for the look below, although I shot it a couple weeks ago and London temperatures are quickly dropping and having me reach for my coats, I always love a cute floral dress as its one of those easy transitional pieces. This particular mid length sleeve wrap dress is by Nude London and has a ruffle neckline and sleeve details as well as a fun pattern in shades of red. I paired it with my go to white sneakers by M.gemi and a classic monogramed bag by MCM, as well as some dramatic cat eye shades by Pared.
You can easily take your floral dress from summer to fall especially if its in a darker palette by layering it with a neutral turtle neck, or throwing over a coat or a chunky knit. I like to contrast with neutral sneakers to make the look less girly or some biker boots to toughen it up.
What is your favourite transitional piece and how do you like to style it? Let me know in the comments below...
