NYFW-Day 2
Day two was the busiest day and consisted of several shows and meetings. One of the highlight was definitely the Lela Rose show and her intricate feminine dresses that are perfect for that important cocktail occasion or wedding party. Equally exciting was the opportunity to see the Rag & Bone show which has been my firm favorite smart casual brand for years, and the high impact urban warehouse show certainly didn’t disappoint.
For this day I played with textures and color blocking and paired a multi tiered navy lace Self Portrait skirt with a ruffled Claudie Pierlot blouse in the same tone. To add a pop of color I threw on a color block coat, Malone Souliers shoes and the cutest Tory Burch rhinestone encrusted box clutch that had a chain detail so I was able to wear it as a cross body bag.
Later in the day I changed to a more comfortable ensemble that expressed the whole 70s vibe that is so on trend right now. I layered a flowery silk blouse with a little burgundy Gucci cardigan and wore a pair of high waisted oversized jeans and pair of block heel Topshop booties. The look was completed with a cream wool trench coat from All Saints, a studded mini Valentino bag and a pair of retro Tory Burch shades.
