Venice isn’t Just for Italy
If there were one place in LA that I believe best captures the essence of the people who live here, it would be Venice. Sure we’ve all heard of the romantic Venice Italy, but LA’s Venice is bustling with creative energy and artistic individuals right on the beachfront. It’s also home to some of the best restaurants, and we can’t forget Abbot Kinney, which thrives with vintage finds, small boutiques and handmade jewellery.
On my stroll along Venice, I wore a Ronny Kobo crocheted dress that perfect fit the chill and relaxing vibe of the town. Known for creating cult pieces for confident and sexy women, Kobo uses exotic prints and knits to create the most beautiful designs. This dress in particular included everything I love, baby-doll cut, off the shoulder, bell sleeve, and the cream/terracotta color palette combined exudes lightness and femininity. I wanted to keep the rest of my outfit minimal but still earthy, so I paired this dress with some tan ankle boots from Nine West, and a small bag from MCM so all the attention would be on the Ronny Kobo dress. I finished the look with my go to accessory, some cat-eye sunglasses from Pared.
So if you’re ever in the city but want to get away from the city, pay a visit to Venice. Bring a skateboard so you can cruise along the beachfront, or grab some food some the local restaurants and have a picnic on the beach. There’s tons to do, and you can’t make a wrong choice.
