Color Me Happy
Fashion week came to a hasty end in the blink of an eye. I cannot believe how rapidly the week went.
I was especially excited for the Jeremy Scott show having seen it last season and once again it certainly didn’t disappoint. Jeremy brought the sexy back with a node to Pretty Woman inspired styles; think tightknit dresses with waist cutouts and hot pink sequined bodysuits to name a few. And with the likes of Haily Baldwin and Sara Sampio strutting their stuff down the catwalk, made for a very HOT, HOT atmosphere. Of course like always a lot of his designs felt like they were out of a cartoon show and definitely require a level of confidence to rock them, which makes us love his designs all the more.
In going with this designer’s typical funky, colorful theme, I was inspired by my Lisa Perry fruit loops skirt. Everything about this embroidered piece puts a smile on my face and instantly brightens up this outfit. I styled it with a yellow silk blouse by Sea NY, furry ankle tie sandals by Loeffer Randall, and a cropped green leather jacket by Phillip Lim and last but nut least, my Kara Ross clutch.
One trend I’ve been obsessing with this season is furry footwear; hence I had to have these LR rainbow furry heels the minute I laid my eyes on them. Whether in a high heel for that statement piece or as slides for maximum comfort, furry shoes are here to stay so below I picked some of my current favorites for you to check out.
New York has been so good to me and now I am off to continue this thrill of a fashion month, please follow along!
