Summer evenings are my favourite, so when my girls wanted to go for a fun night out on the town I was all for it. Since I was already going to be in Silverlake, I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity and take some cool pics of my complete look. My first stop to get ready for the weekend was my hair appointment to get my hair blown out. I like having a versatile look that's easy to maintain, without sacrificing beauty. Normally my signature hair style is a beachy textured curl, but this time my hair stylist, Arianna Chaylene added a side braid for an edgier look.

To compliment this different hairstyle I went with earthy tones and mixed some exotic prints/textures for my outfit. This pekaboo shoulder dress is by Club Monaco and works perfectly layered with a longer vest to show off the flared sleeve detail (mustard vest is by Topshop) . I've always been terrified of snakes, but snake printed accessories? Yes please. I got this snakeskin effect sandals in a khaki tone at TopShop and my snakeskin clutch is by New York based brand, Loeffler Randall. Check out their chic, yet understated designs here .

After sundown I met up with the girls at a restaurant called Cliff's Edge and boy was I in for an adventure. It's got a very nature-filled ambiance and the all-natural food has a Meditterean infusion that is absolute perfection. It literally feels like you're in a treehouse, so here I am at 30 fulfilling my childhood dream of hanging out in treehouse. It was such a pleasant experience and I would totally recommend it whenever you're in the area.
