Platform style
On a weekly basis I try to explore new places in LA. I tend to gravitate towards my usual spots but I push myself to step out of my routine whenever I can. Since moving here, Culver City has always caught my attention and what better place to go to than the brand new Platform. This centre is a collection of the most innovative merchants, chefs, and creative companies housed in the Hayden tract. Need to do some shopping? They've got some adorable boutiques. Delicious food? Check. And don't get me started with the amazing coffee shops on site (which is obviously the main reason this place caught my eye in the first place. )
For this day out I went with a look I like to call casual chic summer style. My crop top is from the UK high street store River Island which went perfect with my high waisted button up skirt by Club Monaco (similar here). You know when there are certain pieces in your closet that you just can't go wrong with? Well this is my trusted Pashli Philip Lim bag in black and metallic silver that I absolutely adore. My cool and edgy slip-on sandals with large circular metal studs are from a limited edition collaboration between Peter Pilotto and Ancient Greek Sandals. Last but not least, these Perverse sunglasses are everything right now. I normally always lose sunglasses so I like buying more affordable pairs so I don't feel as guilty when they go missing. Nothing better than looking chic and being comfortable at the same time on a hot summer day in the city.
Until next time lovelies!!!
