Simply put, this blog is about passion. My deepest passions happen to lie in fashion, interior design and travel, and this blog is my drawing board.

Midnight Blues

Midnight Blues

"That's not a real job," exclaimed a photographer in London when I told him I was a blogger. I laughed it off and went about the rest of fashion week without a care in the world. Then in recent days I have been reading all over the internet that certain fashion magazine editors (you know who you are) took it upon themselves to practically bully bloggers in a Milan fashion week post, not cool!  I've got to admit it's been quite entertaining to see major bloggers clap back on social media and I can actually testify that being a blogger is most definitely a full time job as numerous aspects go into providing quality content for our readers and followers.  In a time when the fashion industry is continuously progressing, it's so important to keep an open mind and look towards where the future is taking us. Anyway, I think my rant is over and I just wanted to give my two cents on this matter so that anyone reading this feels inspired to  pursue their dreams and ignores their haters along the way.

On a lighter note, I've been having an absolutely amazing time in Milan. The people here have been so welcoming and I got to attend some pretty amazing shows. On this particular day I wore a royal blue, knee-length dress by Uterque, the company is operated by the Inditex group who are the makers of Zara but offers more elevated quality items and I've been loving their designs lately. I paired the elegant pleated dress with some floral print booties by Sam Edelman, and a black suede Gucci bag with the buckle emblem. On my schedule that morning was the Vivetta show and I must say I fell profoundly in love with their line!! Watching this feminine- chic show was definitely the highlight of my time here.

Thanks for being so good to me Milan!
